Julie is an illustrator based between Long Island, New York, and Savannah, Georgia. She is currently a junior at the Savannah College of Art and Design, studying Illustration with a concentration in Visual Development and a minor in Concept Art for Games. She is also an active member of SCAD’s Illustration Society and Concept Art Club.

Julie is proficient in a range of programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Procreate, Twine, and Excel, allowing her to contribute across many stages of the creative process. Following a professor’s recommendation, she joined the SCADpro Beachview team in the summer of 2025, where she developed professional graphic assets for branding and web applications. This 10-week collaborative project involved working directly with the company to research and develop cohesive branding concepts across its three divisions: Event Rentals & Design, Logistics, and Energy. During the project, Julie was nicknamed “Swiss Army Knife” for her versatility and problem-solving skills.

Most recently, she served as an illustrator for the upcoming 2026 SCAD short film Fallen Angels, directed by Lucca Aguiar.

In addition to her university projects, Julie is committed to introducing young students to art. She has worked as an assistant instructor for Bayville Elementary School’s “Paintopia” enrichment program and partnered with SCAD professors Ted and Hanna Michalowski to lead a live model drawing workshop at Locust Valley High School.

Her work has received several recognitions, including being named NYSATA Student of the Month in 2023 and receiving the Kazickas Family Foundation Art Scholarship. That same year, her piece Dormant earned an Honorable Mention at the Nassau County Juried Art Guild Showcase.

Besides illustrating, Julie enjoys reading, writing, sculpting, nature walks with her camera, and spending time with friends.
